Mr. David Krupski was born and raised in the United States. Having younger siblings, David took on the role of teacher at a young age and continued that path into adulthood as he became a social studies teacher after university studies. While teaching, he continued his education by earning a Juris Doctor in Law and a Master's Degree in Education and Leadership. After successfully teaching in the United States for 15 years, he moved to Germany and then to China for School Leadership roles in Bilingual Schools. In joining VPA, David is excited to bring his passion for teaching and learning, collaboration, and supporting colleagues to ensure we are meeting the needs of all students at VPA.   

Dr. Li holds a Master's and Doctoral degree in Education from the University of Hong Kong, along with teaching qualifications certified in the United States and the United Kingdom, and advanced certification in IB (International Baccalaureate) teaching and research. Prior to joining Victoria Park Academy, she has taught in mainland China and abroad, and worked at Victoria Shanghai Academy for over seven years. Beyond teaching and administration, she serves as an IB MYP (Middle Years Programme) examiner, possessing extensive practical experience in IB curriculum and pedagogical research. She has conducted numerous workshops in Hong Kong, mainland China, and Taiwan. As a research-oriented educator and administrator, Dr. Li is deeply passionate about concepts such as the integrated model and holistic development in international curriculum education.

With 18 years of experience in international education and founding school leadership experience in 2 international schools, he was trained in Hong Kong in 2010 to become an official lB PYP trainer and visitor. Since 2012, he has conducted lB training and carried out PyP authorization and supervisory visits in various locations including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Foshan, and Jurong.In 2016, he was trained in Singapore to become an official lB PyP consultant, assisting candidate primary schools and kindergartens to become officially authorized. From 2015 to 2017, he served as the co-chair of the PYP organization in East China.
