MA in International Education from the University of Bath; PGCE with QTS from the University of Chichester

Brett has lived and worked in China since 2003, with extensive experience in bilingual and international schools. He is a qualified IB Workshop Leader and a passionate advocate for inclusive, concept-driven learning. He brings a strong background in curriculum development, teacher coaching, and data-informed school improvement. 

Brett is a competent Mandarin speaker and married to a Chinese national, allowing him to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.  He has led the implementation of the IB PYP, Lucy Calkins Readers and Writers Workshop, and data-based systems to improve student learning.

Outside of school, he enjoys long-distance running, healthy cooking, and exploring new places with his wife and two daughters.
